Misunderstanding the World

Archbishop Sheen explores the two possible meanings of the word, "world," along with their implications. He also discusses the two casualties" resulting in this misunderstanding - the first is the avoidance of a "direct encounter with Christ," and the second is the "neglect of Christ," a much graver casualty. He also discusses the change that he saw occur in the Church - a change of the Church going into the world and the world going into the Church. Much confusion in the Church has come from our misunderstanding of this word, "world."
