Prayer to Saint Nicholas

The prayer on the back of the card reads, 'Glorious Saint Nicholas of Bari, courageous confessor and martyr of the Faith, defender of the divine nature of Christ at the Council of Nicaea, promoter of justice, defender of the innocent, and protector of the poor! To you with total confidence, we raise our hearts and minds to humbly implore your powerful intercession before the throne of the Most High and Ever Blessed Trinity. Today, the precious gift of Life and the truth about the family are under siege by the manifold forces of evil; and the resources necessary to confront the works of darkness are limited. With total confidence and simplicity of spirit, we humbly ask that you obtain from the loving and merciful Heart of Jesus the graces and material resources required for Human Life International's spiritual and temporal works.

We ask, Saint Nicholas, that you would always intercede for our pro-life missionaries who travel by land and sea to spread the Gospel of Life. May they receive the graces and resources necessary to fulfill HLI's mission for the greater glory of God in defense of Life and Family. Amen.'
