In this talk, designed for young and mature people alike. Bishop Sheen discusses the word "love," which is not as simple as many think. There is only one word meaning love in English, but there are three kinds in Greek: Eros, Philia, and Agape. Bishop Sheen expands on these these three kinds of love and their meanings. Eros - affectionate love, Philia - love for others made in the likeness of God, and Agape - sacrificial, divine love of God for man. We only get glimpses of perfect love here on Earth. Bishop Sheen remarks that "all we ever get are fractions, sparks falling from the great hearth of love, which is God."
